what we had is over and done with
time has gone by, we've moved on.
Life has changed but the guys that
come in and out of my life, seem to scar my heart.
I'm careful of who i love, but if i fall too hard, i push away.
Just slamming that door shut and running away.
But there is this one guy, he's sweet and kind,
I want to be more than a friend,
I want to hold his hand. I want to look in his eyes.
It's hard to say goodbye, but so easy to say hello.
I don't just want a summer fling, i want something
serious and real. Something we can hold on to this year.
